A Formal Garden in Oxfordshire
CONCEPT: A formal garden has a terraced space with three different sections. The first a large water pool renovated with a water bowl fountain and water lilies. The second space has Beech topiary shapes set in the lawn leading down to the third area which is less formal. An oval lawn is mown leaving rough grass around the edge, with the inner section planted with wildflower turn and plugs/bulbs. The vegetable garden has raised beds, fruit cage, greenhouse and compost bins. A seating area with table and chairs and large water bowl creates a restful space. An orchard with multiple types of fruit trees set in a grid system underplanted with bulbs within rough grass.
The entrance to the house is given more gravitas with larger beds and topiary. The driveway has new ornamental cherry trees leading to the house.
